What’s new this year at L&R Suburban?
As the summer season comes to a close, we reflect upon our community interactions and our company initiatives implemented within the year. Items of interest:
2007 Hedberg Landscape and Masonary Supplies Parade of Ponds
We participated in the Parade of Ponds for 2 weekends in July at a beautiful pond retreat that we created for our client in Shorewood. The tour was a great success in raising money for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund and a donation was also made to the Minnesota Garden Society. The 2008 schedule is July 19-20th & July 26-27th from 10am-5pm each day. We look forward to next year’s event!
7th Annual Luxury Home Tour
June 8-10th, 15-17th, and 22-24th enabled us to show the creativity and excellence of our installations at a wonderful home location in Medina! The finished project was a custom designed landscape that included the use of a specialty Tiger Stripe Boulder to create the front fountain waterfall complimenting the stonework on the home. A multi sized cobblestone “old world” paver was used for the extensive pool deck entertainment area.
The design for this home included other specialty items that were installed to create a one of kind luxury setting. The beauty and quality of the finished landscape was viewed and talked about, not only by visitors in the tour, but other contractors as well. We are very proud of our contribution to the 2007 Luxury Home Tour!
Minnesota State Fair Garden
The great Minnesota Get Together included representation by our employees at the MNLA Outdoor Garden during the fun and very warm 12 day event. See you at the Fair in 2008!

Multiple Sclerosis Society
American Cancer Society
Special Olympics Minnesota
And special participation in the Foundation Fighting Blindness VISIONWALK that was held on Sunday, September 30, 2007.
